Attorney Kate Pruchnicki of Milano Attorneys & Counselors at Law was selected as a 2019 Ohio Rising Star by SuperLawyers Magazine. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Ohio are selected to receive this award. Kate practices all throughout Northeast Ohio, primarily focusing in criminal defense, domestic relations, and juvenile law.
Kate joined Milano Law in January of 2015 as a law clerk. She then graduated cum laude from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2016 and remained with the firm as an attorney upon being licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
Within her criminal defense practice, Kate has developed a strong focus in OVI/DUI defense. She has presented on OVI/DUI law, as well as the Fourth Amendment and traffic stop cases generally, at seminars across Ohio. Within the field of domestic relations, Kate has developed a more specific focus on fighting for, and defending, fathers falsely accused of abuse and/or neglect and deprived of their parental rights.
SuperLawyers’ “Rising Star” award is a peer designation awarded to a select number of attorneys in Ohio. The selection process takes into account professional achievements, peer recognition, and other cogent factors.
